“Really nice! Quiet, repetitive in a good way, very soothing. The vocals for some reason remind me of a track off of the movie soundtrack for Strange Days (1995?) - Fall In the Light by Lori Carson and Grame Revell.”

“I'm not a huge fan of blues songs by non-blues artists, but this one is really good! It reminds me of David Roback's guitar playing in Mazzy Star and The Rain Parade, as well as a _definite_ Phish influence.”

“Title track to Lovers Prayers is a great song that is reminiscent of DEL AMITRI a la "Driving With The Brakes On". Although I do wonder if perhaps there shouldn't be a possessive apostrophe to modify "Lovers" as "Lover's Prayers" or "Lovers' Prayers" since the lyric is "fill the sky with ..." ”

“Lovely harmonies on this acoustic number, which remind me of the Iron & Wine songs where Sam Beam gets his sister singing with him. It's a tad more sedate and open-sounding than that though, and the female singer has a bit of a classic folk sound to her voice, like Jodi Mitchell in her soft and least warbly moments. Definitely keen to investigate this group further!”
