Our take

"Assisted by production from Cloud Cult's Craig Minowa, Minnesota band Ice Palace have made a haunting, shambling sophomore album."

“Saw these guys open up for Cloud Cult and Margot & the Nuclear So-and-So's and was hooked even though I'd never heard of them before. They were definitely better than the headliner (Margot) and nearly upstaged Cloud Cult, whom I was there to see. Great stuff, highly recommended.”

“Very cool lyrics, kinda sounds like The Eels. I was initially drawn to the song because it mentions pirates. ”
