“More in the same irreverent vein as the "Drunken Prince Charming", and just as thoroughly satisfying in its impish winks at everything from late-night booty calls, to (don't miss the unforgettable lyric about the Happy Meal D***) how it's all really just like fast food if we're not careful. Love it.”

“Yes, the title is a little strange, but I really like the song. It's cool and twangy.”

“I've had this one for months on my "new" playlist, and it just never leaves. It's not raucous, nor rocking, nor anything I can put my finger upon, but it's beautiful in its own eminently un-beautiful way. Here's a song that proves 'em all wrong, and I couldn't be happier to have it in my collection.”

“One of Grant's best songs on the album. The song really flows and makes you want to listen to the entire song over and over again.”

“Songs like this you already know from the title you're going to like against all better judgment. "I've got a boot in my hand / that'll fit you just fine". :-)))”

“There's a radio-quality hook to the break that embodies the courage to "give the finger to lady luck", and it's richly satisfying to be a part of it just by listening. "This ain't the first time / I have seen this show / This ain't the last time / I'm just the last to know"”

“There's always a critical ear bent to any title track, as if it's part of the expectation that it's the standout track of the collection. So when Koreatown goes down the earbud channels the first time, there's a discriminatory impulse that won't give it the luster that accrues to it through repeated listening. By the time that the magnetic 1's and 0's are almost erased by re-use, it finally starts to shine through why this is, indeed, the capstone of the collection. An anthem that holds up its end, as a fitting revisit to the boulevard made famous by The Kinks "Celluloid Heroes", when the stars born in Minnesota find they have nowhere else to lay their heads down. Koreatown never needs to know.”

“"Save a spot for me at the end of the bar / where the ladies are / and a stranger pays". Can Grant help a brother get inspired? YOU BET”
