“Sometimes leaning just a little bit emo. I can hear echoes of the Postal Service.”

“A touch of retro with a voice that reminds me a bit of Elvis Costello. They sound like winners to me!”

“A mix of Britpop and new wave, like The Cribs crossed with Wham! Catchy, dancey and a whole lot of fun.”

“These guys should be much bigger than they are. Good stuff.”

“Nicely done, emotive pop. 80s style vocals. Just a little bit of an edge. This track has a funk bass (not usually my thing) bubbling just right in the mix under the vocals and drums. I've been thinking that I've needed something that sounds like this!”

“I found this band through their connections with Micachu (they're on the Filthy Friends mixtape). This is probably the most single-y song on the True Romance album. To me, it sounds similar to Vampire Weekend.”
lisablacker Rec'd this on Sep 4, 2009:

“Makes me want to dust off some old ABC and Haircut 100 albums and give a listen.(Yes, I'm old :{ )”
