“New twist on a B&S fave. A more jazzy feel with great female vocals. ”

“Pretty much what you think a Stuart Murdoch (Belle & Sebastian) song sung winsomely by a female chanteuse would soundlike. Inoffensive, charming, and fun.”

“Like Belle & Sebastian, great off-beat songs are saved for a separate EP”

“Love the horn intro, and well, everything about this song. Belle & Sebastian lovers will feel quite at home.”

“Yes, as the sample indicates, there is a lot of narrating going on in this track...in fact, the narrator speaks over the entirety of the song(s). (There are lush arrangements of 40 seconds or so interspaced in the background.) I found it quite charming, though - listening to the whimsical musings on "kissing only" policies, covert Howard Jones listening sessions, and starting anew by a girl with a gorgeous accent will do that, I guess...!”

“Nice and pleasant; in the style of 60's British flower folk pop.”

“Clever tune that offers an explanation of why the girls all end up dancing together. Very funny and yet also moving.”

“The only song on the album where every female vocalist who worked on the project (there are at least six) gets to take a verse. Great Lyrics and a soaring bridge. ”

“This song is one of two songs on the album already recorded by B&S. It was also the subject of a singing competition on imeem. It rocks in a great sixties girl group kind of vibe, complete with strings.”
