“Great instrumental mathy indie album along the lines of American Football et al. The band is Victor Villareal (ex-Cap'n Jazz), Sam Zurick (ex-Cap'n Jazz, currently in Joan of Arc and Make Believe), Erik Bocek (ex-Tetsuo, ex-Joan of Arc) and Scott Shellhammer (ex-Tetsuo, currently in American Heritage). Many other related acts. Too bad they broke up but this is a great instrumental rock record that epitomizes that turn-of-the-generation Chicago indie sound. If you're a musician, you might enjoy playing along to it like I do!”
