“Each song here deserves to be rec'd just because of the guitar playing....it doesn't get any better!”

“Soothing combination of pickin' and hummin'... lovely and atmospheric, yet rootsy and earthy guitar-vocal ambience. ”

“Eric Clapton meets classical guitar. This is a wonderful song - but the whole album is great. The given is the great guitar, but the variety is a pleasant surprise. ”

“Such a beautiful song! Haunting vocals (no lyrics--just multi-layered "ohs") over a guitar and a sparse drum track. If Enya played guitar, got a bit edgier, and was a guy, it might sound something like this! I love every one of Gavin's tracks--you can't go wrong.”

“Very nice acoustic guitar. Should have been the on the soundtrack for Cold Mountain.”

“A classical guitar ballad with Spanish influence here.....superlatives pale to describe how accomplished Gavin is.”

“I have to rec this song because of the awesome riffs and the solo at the end! This is Gavin at his best in terms of rapid rocking licks. Not only do his fingers fly but there are some awesome musical ideas here. The kick drum adds a nice solid beat for the guitar to play off... Look out for this guy!”

“Another great song on an album full of skillful guitar playing! This is a slower largely instrumental song on nylon guitar but was the song that brought Gavin Coetzee to my attention. In addition to a beautiful main theme, it brings in some lovely tones and harmonies. A great song!”
