About Acoustic Live
After three (3) successful releases Frequency 54 released their 4th CD, Live Acoustic, on July 15, 2008. As the title implies, Live Acoustic is an acoustic compilation of nine Frequency 54 favorites along with one new, previously unrecorded, tune. It was recorded live in front of a roomful of adoring fans. Don’t let the title fool you, though, because “Acoustic” definitely ROCKS!!!The signature of Frequency 54 music is alive and well on Live Acoustic. As with their previous three releases this one is packed with melodic overtones and lots of searing guitar work. Add the addition of some awesome harmonies and Acoustic Live will be another Frequency 54 CD that you’ll want to play over and over again.
Acoustic Live features original band members Justin Rose (vocals), Matt Adams (rhythm guitar), Tony Hernandez (Drums), Jeremy Rose (Bass) and new lead guitarist Shane Douglas. Shane’s guitar work is second to none but he also adds some great back-up vocals and a song writing ability that makes Frequency 54 stronger than ever. Some of his song writing influence can be heard on their newest song, Abuse, which is the fourth cut on Acoustic Live.
Acoustic Live rocks but if you need an infusion of the hard stuff you can still get that from 54¢ Freq Show (release 1 - 2002), What’s Inside (release 2 - 2004) or Beginnings (release 3 - 2007).
Many thanks to all of those who helped make our live recording a great experience including all the fans that showed up for the show. Those fans, along with our fans all over the world, are the reason we exist!
