About Tamboo Tamboo

Figli di Madre Ignota is a band from italy. We play maccaroni swing and other danceful tunes and we are willing to see you dance! we steal the cooking heat from swing and rock'n'roll, spices from eastern europe and mozzarella and garlic from Neaples' tarantella, our pasta comes from electric guitars and tomatoes from horns. just sing the recipe, and here is our pizza-retro!
Rock'n'roll, balkans, swing and surfy guitars, lot of horns, and music to dance!
With a fast polka dedicated to legendary Brave Combo from Denton,TX.

“Figli di Madre Ignota are a blast of spicy Italian sausage, with plenty of Balkan and Gypsy flavor. Their songs are full of layered instrumentation, brass flourishes, and traditional anthemic vocals. The name means “sons of an unknown mother”, but the music is laced with joyful exuberance and variety. Listening to this album is like wandering into a traveling troupe of troubadours and feasting, drinking wine, and merrymaking with them all night long. They are that rare band with eclectic influences that still manages to make themselves distinctive and that simultaneously combines centuries old music styles with the latest in today’s trends, which is particularly noticeable in their percussive arrangements. This album is a great introduction to their music, released in 2004, I look forward to more music from them. Great band!”
