“These middle two tracks could almost be Fennesz solo - sheets of noise but not in an aggro, hard to take way... more like the rush of wind in the trees or something ... romantic? Haha, OK, am going too far. Hang me if I turn into a Pitchfork reviewer. Brandlmayr's gentle drums punctuate the otherwise rhythm-free wash, providing a nice counterpoint.”

“Incredible performance here - if you have any interest in contemporary ambience or improvised music, please give it a shot. Hopefully Fennesz catches people's attention, with his awards and accolades and all the rest, but Brandlmayr is just an AMAZING drummer (with Radian, Trapist, Kapital Band 1, etc. etc.) and Dafeldecker is a member of superb Austrian improv group, Polwechsel. It's not catchy, but if you're happy to let yourself go it's not difficult listening either. prawling ambient textures, distant noise, and acoustic guitar, with Brandlmayr's laidback but rock-influenced drumming really taking things in a new direction. AAAHRGJHAR I love his stuff so much!! A whole album in one track, really... will be an absolute bargain even if it hits 98c.”

“The most rock sounding track on the album - twanging and jangling electric guitar and steady, brushed drums sometimes go head to head with bursts of noise. Kinda like the aural equivalent of having the sun in your eyes - the traditional instrumental song is in there, somewhere! :)”
