Novena - A mixture of Christian folk/rock/rnb the Album was born of great suffering by the composer. At the end of his rope and in search of an answer to that question all of us will need to ask one day. Why? Why me? Why now? I can't live. I can't go on. He turned in desperation to prayer. He had never written a decent song in his life. He had given up writing years ago. He prayed for an answer for nine days in a row, and like the idiot he is he expected the clouds to open up and a perfect explanation written on some golden scroll to appear! Nothing! Does God even listen? Does he even care he asked himself? He sat down, with nothing left but total emptiness. He picked up his guitar and "When we pray,” poured out. Over the next few weeks came the other songs came. He turned then to the most talented and prayerful musicians and vocalists he knew. They offered their talent for free and when asked if they would be anonymous they did not hesitate. Then the problem of recording. A studio owner offered his studio and engineering time free! THEY made the rough songs beautiful. Three days of recording and two years of mixing later the problem of how to manufacture 2000 CD’s to give away. Money came from many generous people and the inspirational original artwork that you see for the cover of the album was donated. Those 2000 CD’s made it all over the world and some of the songs were played on a world wide radio station with over 35 million listeners. Please pray then feed the poor. If you remember only one thing remember DO NOT GIVE UP - HE CARES.If your life is changed by these songs give the credit all to God. If your life is not changed then the blame is all mine.
