“This one is so good that it might actually make you cry.. a little softer than the normal rough around the edges sound that EPR carries so well, this one reaches up into the upper registers and makes you want to sit him down and soothe his pain. Reminds me a lot of early Ray Charles.”

“How can you deny a guy crying "I want to know, I just got to know... why you always hang'n round"? I've had this album on loop since I bought it!”

“You won't believe that this was recorded in the 21st Century. Which is awesome.”

“A nice change - Slow, smooth and easy on the ears.”

“Brilliant song. Great rhythm, soulful sound. ”

“In the style of Marvin Gaye, this is one that you can not help singing along to.. loud... with a hairbrush as a fake microphone. The instrumentals are great, and the emotions run strong in this aching, yearning song. ”

“Good sound - You will find yourself tapoing your foot - Just you watch :-) ”

“Such a good soul track! Even has a nice background hiss to it that adds to the ambiance.”
CraigH Rec'd this on Jul 30, 2007:
Street Cred: 11089 Rec's: 500
“This one is MADE for 45rpm wax. Don't be distracted by what's rough around it, this one hits in every breath and in every note, just like the way R&B used to, ought to, and still does when Eli hits his stride. Put a couple of scratches on it, and you'd think you'd rediscovered original gold.”
AdamP Rec'd this on Jul 31, 2007:

“More soul powa from EPR - a brass led jam with big vocals throughout. Sounds like Sam & Dave or a missing track from the Commitments soundtrack. Excellent stuff . . .”
