“How can you go wrong with The Duke? With a bitrate of 243 kbps on this song, I bought the whole album. Very good quality and great rhythms from his piano playing.”

“Culturally Iconic tune played with that cornucopia turntable ear. I'd like to know more about these older recordings. Amie St. doesn't provide enough album info!”

“A great version of a great classic. As an avid Phish fan growing up, i was introduced to this song through bootleg Phish tapes. Later that peak in interest led to studying some of this great jazz in college. OK, i admit it, this tune has some nostalgia for me... but it is a great 9 min version - worth every penny.”
Dgold Rec'd this on Feb 27, 2008:

“The "A" train is a subway in NYC. This song is such a classic from Duke Ellington's famous live sets (and many other bands who played versions of it including Phish), it is well known to be a "jazz standard", which simply means you MUST have this song in your collection!”
