About Let's Get It Poppin'

As young teenagers, the talented duo group "Double Barrel", also known as the twins, were very into and influenced by the music culture of Hip-Hop growing up in Yonkers, NY. Listening to artists such as LL Cool J, Jay-Z, B.I.G., Nas, DMX, Cassidy, 50 Cent and many more. Knowing that they were inspired, they decided to pursue a rapping career. As they started writing rhymes, trying day after day to perfect a flow, and increase their skill, they were writing and recording hundreds of tapes in their house till they decided to take their talent more seriously and take it to the next level. Receiving a bunch of beats from their cousins and friends and going to their houses to record on 4-track mixers in home studios. Double Barrel would usually spend a lot of time away from home so they would have tons of rhyme books, writing in school and even at work. Near the age of 17, they started freestyling in school and on the street, gaining a fan base and hitting local studios to record their music and eventually spending near a hundred dollars on studio time every week. Finally they put out their independent CD with their own money and on their own time, passed them out throughout Yonkers to create a well known buzz which had a great affect to their inspiring career, doing collabos and networking music with others through word of mouth and MySpace. They hit studios hard every day grinding for a chance to blow. Luckily they heard about a local DJ named Superior who was quite popular around the town and set up a meeting with him and let him hear the CD. After which they were accepted with open arms to join Most Hated Entertainment which is a part of their lives till this day, where they earned a spot on a mixtape and showcased down in the city and just released their own mixtape, out now, under the Most Hated label called "Let's Get It Poppin' " moving like several hundred units so far and still counting. They then expanded their ideas by buying some music equipment and programs and now they make hot exclusive beats so they rhyme off of their own beats and sell beats to local area artists. On their mix CD there is other new artists that are down with Most Hated Entertainment like Reef Bux, Rowdy City, which by the way is from Connecticut, a new female named Lady Slim which is hot. (Note: Most Hated has 2 female rappers, the other is Tray-Dot). Other artists include P89, Klipz & Envy (from Most Hated South). Most Hated Entertainment also has new producers named BFG (Baby Faced Gangsters) from Germany who produced a track on the Double Barrel mix CD (Track 10). The C.E.O. of Most Hated shows up on 2 tracks (Hold That and Slurt).
