In a time where fabrications and inventions to reality rule our everyday lives, Death to Anders has created Fictitious Business, a surreal and cryptic look into life of in the 21st century. Like paranoid eyes through a camera lens, this album uncovers how our repressed thoughts which are hidden away in deep canyons and dark bathrooms, reveals how dominance through expansion of unwaisted space, mingled with the struggles of self improvement, lust and beauty, truly does have us all by the balls. Noise filled jangly guitars draws the listener into this American landscape, as darkly sweet harmonies connect the bad with the good, and the love with the pain. Heard in its entirety, Fictitious Business takes the listener through an astonishing and sonically dynamic journey.

This astounding sophomore album was produced by Dave Newton (The Blood Arm, The Little Ones, The Movies, The Happy Hollows), and features guitarists and vocalists Rob Danson and Nick Ceglio, bassist Peter DiBiasio, and drummer John Broeckel. Combined with guest appearances such as The Happy Hollows’ Sarah Negahdari on their single “Camera Lens,” Fictitious Business is their most ambitious work to date.

Based out of Silverlake, California, Death to Anders has already begun to achieve success. In addition to headlining Spaceland and the ever popular Lets Independent (presented by radiofreesilverlake.com), Death to Anders has been viewed by the likes of many including Mitchell Frank (owner of Spaceland), as a band that we all should know.
