“Great groove, for those of you who enjoy Robert Waddington the latest amiestreet phenom, you'll like this...this is a great introduction for this young jazz artist blending a more modern jazz sound nicely with a traditional understanding of the music ”

“I love the ebb and flow of the sax and trumpet with the undercurrent of piano. This piece bubbles and flows like a crystal clear stream in the summer sun.”

“Gorgeous ballad with a very interesting twist in the middle...just when you think you'll be bored, there's a great harmonic shift...check it out”

“Great sax. Brilliant piano work. Good modern "industrial" jazz.”

“A cool latin feel but very modern tonally...augmented stuff with fresh breaths of a more diatonic sound in the bridge, great for those of you into jazz and the movement started up here by Robert Waddington”

“Modern feel with hints of '60's and '90's jazz combos. I like this track a lot.”

“Check out this remarkable young roots-informed jazz saxophonist breaking-out on amiestreet. Daniel Weidlein has also created a YouTube video about "Strange Fruit" by Billie Holiday that you can find on YouTube.”

“This is a great song that was composed at Stanford Jazz Workshop for the top combo. It remains very modern and out of the normally jazz standard feel. The piano part on the bridge is almost like pop, which casts a distinct contrast between parts of the song. Weidlein's solo on this is very melodic and he develops his ideas well while demonstrating his technical facility on sax. ”
