About Until The Morning Light

Daniel Ward-Murphy is a London based singer/songwriter of Irish descent who has been steadily building a solid reputation as a live artist while performing songs of the highest calibre. He has developed his unique sound built on a solid foundation of acoustic guitar, cello, violin and drums that is both accessible and the perfect medium for his heartfelt vocals and expressive songwriting, while giving his music a timeless, almost throwback feel.

Until The Morning Light is Daniel’s debut album and was entirely financed by fans via the SellaBand platform. Together with his excellent supporting musicians and co-vocalist Jennifer Delaney, Daniel performs 11 original songs including many that have become favourites of his live shows, ranging from the energy and spirit of The Queen of Something New and She’s a Knockout to the poignancy of The Genius of Myra and Under The Wire. It is a genuine musical rollercoaster that displays the strength, emotion and lyrical sentiment of his songwriting.

The album was produced by studio legend Tony Platt (Bob Marley, AC/DC, Abram Wilson) who has kept the sound live and natural, allowing the songs to breathe and the vocal and instrumental performances to shine. The result is an album suitable for fans of everyone from Bob Dylan to Damien Rice, Coldplay to Amy MacDonald and Johnny Cash to James Blunt.
