“My first thought when hearing this was Peter Murphy lamenting from within a robot. Seriously. I mean that in a good way though as I particularly care for the aesthetic of this song. Like all of the songs on this album it is enjoyable to listen to (this is perhaps my favourite) but also seems to express something in how it is presented. The almost robot like, unthinking, unreasoning, world clatters along and this haunting voice calls from inside, as we become quite aware of our situation.”

“With this song we can feel ourselves, along with the artist struggling against the prison that has kept us believing in the games that society as represented by the young lady early on is playing. Glimpses of a heaven of reason can be glimpsed through the fog of struggle and unknowing. The song was beautiful to listen to overall.”

“Sweet uptempo background keys with great percussion and raw female vocals... Reminds me of The Go! Team's first album, very nostalgic.”

“While this was certainly pleasant to listen to, and I could imagine it being dance-friendly, it was most appealing to me as art. I could genuinely feel the vague explanation for the sampled female's implied lust falling into the void that was literally openned at the end of the song. Her desires were rather empty and we the listeners are left empty and alone as she goes off to persue them in the guise of this happy dance tune. Nice contrast which is true to life.”

“The funkiest of the tracks on this album, this could almost be said to be more hip hop or R&B than electronic. It is the catchiest and perhaps most accessible of the tracks, having the most vocals and the least experimental electronic elements/effects. While it starts as a fairly straight sample of a female vocalist singing about her "boo", the thumping electronic bass clearly indicates something askew, almost like in a horror movie as things drift off from the apparently normal to the terrifying. The sample eventually becomes distorted, stuttering and failing. The pleasant voice is not what it seems at all, and the loving promises come to naught. This certainly is grounds for the reflections later in the album.”

“This song worked well as the end of a smart, tight EP. I honestly am not sure what to make of it though. There is clearly a dichotemy going on between the heavenly female singing and the vaguely angry hip hop/rap aspect, with a male vocal repeating "Kill it". Perhaps we are meant to see that even within ourselves there are aspects of us that are only "Fair Weather Friends" and that we have our own disorder to work out within.”

“Nice mellow groove electro song with sick highs and lows.”
