“Sit at the bar in your tux, sip a Manhatten, watch Humphrey and Lauren have a smoke on the other side, relax and let that voice caress your ears. While the drummer winks at you and takes the music to a smooth pop level.”

“Norah Jones, Jane Monheit and Eva Cassikdy all rolled into one....terrific, clear voice and wonderful, easy rhythms.”

“Corky's Cats are woefully mis-categorized. They should be in the Pop/Lounge or Pop/Jazz inflected Blues. That said, this is a very enjoyable CD. On Track 5 (Catch You), the vocalist loses pitch a couple of times. I'm sure if there were a musical score on most of these tracks, it would be marked "with freedom" so no complaints, generally, on the vocal. The band itself is tight and bluesy. Very good CD! Highlights include "Between You and Me," "Time Makes It Easy," "Knife" and "I Want You." Get the entire CD and enjoy it as a set.”
