Cloudburst

Cloudburst began as an experiment of ideas between four amateur musicians. With time, the band has found its own niche in making sensible Brit-pop music whilst at the same time improving the quality of lyrics that goes into its music. With the release Windows EP, Cloudburst has reached a new level of maturity in songwriting and with the inclusion of a couple of new members, the band has found a sound that they are comfortable with and definitely the one they can build upon in later releases.

What we would like to say may not be important to everybody, but it is important to a lot of people who understands the problems that we Malaysians face everyday. It is not about being angry or resentful, it is about being unhappy. A lot of people are furious, we are content on being despondent instead. It saves us a lot of trouble (and screaming apparently) and it leads to happier mornings I suppose.

Cloudburst is simple; its not something that is difficult to swallow. Songs about love, life and society is commonplace everywhere and the same could be said here. The band writes about what needs to be written, and sings about what needs to be sung. We would like to thank all of those involved in the process of making this EP
