“quite a good dancy song, good beat and interesting lyrics”

“Awesome sound and a real grower of a song: like a dark, symphonic Bowie. A very original piece: shades of the 80s, layered vocal harmonies, and a lightness of touch, but with an understated power that pulses through the track and never lets up, and huge, clattering drums. A song about 'the shadow aspect', perhaps?”

“What a wonderful fourney this takes you on. A great blend of guitar traditional and electronica. I like what I hear!”

“Strange, haunting, beautiful, lush, bitter-sweet, funky. Awesome keyboards, subtle harmonies and that characteristic mix of the melodic and the heavily rhythmic. Again like the best of christopher's stuff, it's beautiful, but with a strange, dark, slightly gothic edge of darkness.”

“Simple, hypnotic, and soulful slow dance groove with cyclical vocal hooks punctuating the instrumental. Bowie-esque in its fusion of white electro with black urban elements... unusual for an electro artist who favours the European and the gothic. It works, with shades of PM Dawn and early 90s urban music.”

“It's the driving rhythm and synths, with the high, plaintive vocals over it all. Awesome.”

“Very cool, strange, nu-Madonna-esque dancey track with shades of Hounds-era Kate Bush, and even Tatu in the big rhythms and layered vocals.”
hierophant Rec'd this on Jan 7, 2008:

“This comes on like a kate Bush-fronted Underworld, with a strange otherworldly vocal soaring over a pounding ethnic beat, tablas, a gothic choir, and that characteristic rye pulsing synth effect. Like the best of christopher's music, it combines the subtle and beautiful with an understated aggression, 80s influences with something entirely new and contemporary. Check out this guy.”

“cool ambient noises, great mood & feel. Love the guitar that comes in around 3:00. Not just ambient, great melody too....
Excellent.”
