“Beautiful track - piano and vocals, sort of souly folk, almost like a ballard. Think Springsteen on Nebraska (except a woman, obviously - but that feel of cut down rock morphing into folk, rather than someone starting off as a folk person). Have a listen to the rest, too, there's a big mix of different styles on these albums - from this through to jazz-pop and a bit of rock.”

“This whole album is acoustic blues and gospel - just a singer and piano accompaniment, very stripped down and bare. Any song on here would have been as good to rec as any other. Chrissy has a beautiful voice, and this album shows it off better than some of her other work because of the music's simplicity.”

“Cut down piano and vocals, pop-rock with a touch of the blues and a hint of soul to keep it interesting. Ms Angel has a great voice, a good range, but then again I'm a sucker for contraltos :)”
