About Angels of Mineral Springs

Originally from Jacksonville, Florida, Chris now lives in San Diego. California. In 1993 Chris won first place in both bluegrass and gospel at the Merlefest Chris Austin songwriting contest. His songs have been recorded by Claire Lynch (Paul & Peter Walked, God Spoke His Name, Thibodeau), Suzanne Thomas (Dear Friends and Gentle Hearts), Sally Jones (Saro), the Schankman Twins (Thibodeau), and Tina Adair (These Tears).

Recorded at Eric Uglum's New Wine Studio, and co-produced by Janet Beazley, it features special guest artists Ron Block (of Alison Krauss and Union Station), Chris Jones, Irl Hees (of the Lonesome River Band), Gabe Witcher, Pam Daley, Eric Uglum, and many more.
