About The Ukulele Sessions
"The Ukulele Sessions" features the compositions of singer/songwriter cc.tran on electric-acoustic ukulele.Released for the first time is "Zinfandel", perhaps cc.tran's most well-received original song on ukulele. "Zinfandel" emulates the breezy happy nature of both the instrument and the feeling of being in love. If you like "Zinfandel", you'll likely enjoy "Not Even a Sound".
"Appreciate You" is a song dedicated to the American troops overseas, in particular the 137th Quartermaster Company that inspired the song in the first place. Meeting and being involved with the 137th QMCO, cc.tran affirmed her belief that no matter what side one takes about America's involvement in the war, one has to support the troops that must attend to their duties.
Songs "Invisible Girl" and "Go On" bring a different level to the use of the ukulele. These songs resonate with a more melancholy tone, assisted by the alto-voice of cc.tran.
This EP includes a special bonus pop track "One of these Days" - which includes ukulele in a different way.
