“There was something about the song that made me download the track. Sounds somewhat mournful at times, especially with the choice of instrument, but then it almost becomes lighthearted in some moments. An intriguing purchase.”

“Very relaxing and flowing. And who doesn't love J.S. Bach? I know this isn't what you would normally find on this site, but sometimes it's cool to go back to the musical roots, where it all began. Any suggestions/criticism would be appreciated! ”

“Nice playing! The English horn sound is pretty. Intonation is good. I think the player could have been a bit more expressive (especially considering the nature of English horn), but really a fine student recital performance. ”

“Had Camille not mentioned that this is a recording from a student recital, I would never have guessed that this would be the case.
The treatment of the horn is languid and fluid. I find it to be a thoroughly enjoyable interpretation of the piece, though perhaps somewhat lacking in the variation and power some enjoy in the instrument.
My only complaint is that the acoustic is a little dry. The rich texture we expect from the horn is lacking a bit, but that does not detract much from enjoying this piece.”
