C.A.J. (Cool Ass Joe) Pronounced Cage------ Even after losing his mother at the age of four and his father at the age of thirteen, C.A.J. didnt let the streets of Miami capture his ability in becoming a strong vocal artist. When asked how he felt about his career in the music industry, artist C.A.J. smilingly admits, Its all I know. I've been singing since I could talk. If I couldnt do this, I would do nothing. And thats the way life has been for the R&B/ Hip-hop artist known as C.A.J., pronounced Cage. Born and raised in Miami, Florida, C.A.J. began performing at the age of 5 and hasnt stopped. As a current Atlantan, C.A.J. uses his sweet silky voice in keeping them going from sun up to sun down. C.A.J. gives this credit to those he's admired and been influenced by over the years such as R. Kelly, Luther Vandross, Dangelo, Lenny Williams, Usher, the Jackson 5, Musiq, Stevie Wonder, Justin Timberlake, the Commodores and many more. And as a result of his observing and recognizing their talents, C.A.J. has put together one non-stopping show, in opening up for such groups as SILK, C-LO Goodie, 702, The Lost Boys and many, many more. Of course, he started like many of those before him, in the church. Later he began to perform in talent showcases and local dances and before going solo, he was a member of the group R.A.W. S.T.L.Y.L.E, in which he founded and groomed. You can now find C.A.J. in the studios, writing lyrics, producing, co producing, and engineering his and others material. As C.A.J. puts it, I've been fortunate to hook up with some very talented producers, and entertainers. We've kicked out some tight tracks for the people to peep.
