“Bluebird really showcases Brian's vocal ability. Simple in it's essence, and haunting in its beauty. This is a do not miss.”

“War on Wilcox is catchy, and deceptively simple (at first). The more I listen to it, the more I hear hidden within it. And as a result, the more it keeps calling me back to listen again and again. I suspect this song will blossom on me for some time to come. ”

“One of the things I like best about Brian Wright and the Waco Tragedies is their ability to tell a story. Some bands make attempts at it without ever truly reaching their goal, but Brian Wright has not only achieved it, but become a painter in words, while adding hues and shadowed accents with music. Your Brother the Poet is a very good example of this.”

“I really like the long intro on this one, and the breathtaking emotion of the instrumentation. I'm not sure which stringed instrument is being used throughout most of the song (sorry, I'm not a pro reviewer), but the playing is perfectly matched to the mood. It's one of my favorite songs. ”

“Beautiful song. It reminds me of the older country laze songs...you know the ones that make you want to grab a sweet drink and rock on the porch. But, it has just enough rock to keep me captivated. A fine balance and a nice approach.”

“This is one of my favorite songs off of this album. It's touch of humor and upbeat playing really keep me moving, and wanting more.”

“Brian Wright and the Waco Tragedies has a nice, captivating sound that encompasses a bit of country, a bit of rock, a bit of fun, and a great use of lyrical imagery. The entirety of the album is truly great, and sticks in your head, your ears, and your thoughts. Morning Cigarettes is a fine example of their songwriting skill and ability to captivate. They're on their way, and I think they're here!”

“Over and Again starts out a slow, emotional piece and grips you quickly until you are swelling with the beautiful melodies and painted images. It is a beautiful song that you have to just let spin, as the song says, over and again.”
