Coffee Picasso the 21st Century Minstrel was born and raised in the swampland of southeast Texas. Many were the day that he sat stone-still and listened as the mosquitoes and deer flies buzzed their precious secrets in his ear and in return he gave them his essence in the form of type o positive. The vow of secrecy was sealed beneath his skin in itchy bumps that served as reminders of the sometimes uncomfortable consequences of the universal dance of give and take.

His music reflects the everchanging themes of give and take but it's still the blues because the more things change, the more they stay the same. Our boy Coffee has been baptized in the fire and has returned from the void with a story to tell. At 37 years young he is coming into his prime and has chosen to take the road less traveled en route to making his recording debut.

Much like Robert Johnson, Coffee has been reluctant to give his spirit away in the form of a record contract but here in the New World digital-distribution has given him access to a whole new audience. Finally his home grown blues, funk and soul can be accessed via the internet and a new fan base is emerging! This will be a limited time digital release that will never come again. Carpe diem! The time is now...all is good in the shiny, shiny world!
