“I almost see a train oozing away in the garden with flowerful orange trees. I love the violin, I love the pictures I see when I hear the music. I like it :-)”

“This is a rowsin' and rockin' rendition of an old classic. If you like bluegrass and roots music, you'll be stompin' your boots from the first measure. Yee haw!”

“If you like Stéphane Grappelli, you're sure to like this. Ben McClelland is a fine, fine violinist / fiddle player.”

“The versatility of Ben McClelland is amazing. His bluegrass-y jazz chops are right on... along with the other band members.”

“This title song is a sweet ballad that hearkens back to Ben's previous album, Like the Monsters (which is also a must-hear, by the way). Though it departs from the folky bluegrass elements of other songs on Glasgow Ferry, it fits into the theme of roots-based music, and adds a melancholic touch (especially with the ferry's lonesome foghorn sound).”
