“Bauhaus is back! This is a great lead-off track from a very good album. Gothic funk at its finest. When Peter Murphys sings "better singer" you can't help but think - yeah, right!”

“There’s an air of playfulness to this track as the lyrics appear to poke fun at their dark image. This is reinforced by the whistling section and hand claps in the last third of this track. ”

“A moody, atmospheric song that showcases Peter Murphy's vocals.
A nice change-of-pace in the middle of the album. It's too bad the band split up again before going on tour to promote this album. ”

“Pretty much a straightahead rocker although Daniel Ash's guitar could be up a little bit higher in the mix. His playing reminds how much I like that late '70s post-punk guitar style (e.g., John McGeoch from Siouxsie & the Banshees, Robert Smith, etc.).”
