“Reminiscent of early '80s synthpop video game background music, Alan Lauris nevertheless manages to add some class to a very upbeat and familiar sound. Akin to early Britpop, Connect Me sounds lyrically familiar to Eiffel 65's silly witticisms (without the wit, per se), yet results in a toe-tapping, head bopping hum along. Fun background, but don't read too much into it.”

“Light and cheery - almost ragtime or cabaret in places. And it conceals rather grimmer lyrics. Very neat.”

“A very dramatic instrumental. Good listening.”

“Soft and sad... great lyrics. An excellent song to end an album on.”

“Melodic and uplifting. Having a bad day? Pour yourself a glass of wine and let this song take the edge off.”

“City Codes, Dutch Towns and Cities,
What more do you need? The cadence of Alan's voice
along with the basic beat of the song = brilliance.
I lived over in the Low Lands for years, so this song rings
true to my heart. Download it and take a trip thru the Low Lands for yourself...good stuff Alan”

“A very simple song - little more than a listing of various Dutch Cities - but very cool to listen to.”

“A sweet lost-love-might-come-again sort of song. A instant classic in the breakup song category.
