“This is a relentless tune! Masterful use of mixed time signatures. Beautiful sax. ”

“Very interesting take on roots-music from Virginia. Agents leap way over the Dave Matthews/Pat McGee college kids obsessions in the 90s/early 00s. The Blinds shows an eye towards nuance. Horn/electric guitar/piano leads offset by one of the most gifted rhythm sections outside of a jazz band make Agents a great lost band. This album is their swansong, I believe, and while not perfect, is certainly worth the zero cents it currently is priced at. Plus the singer had his vocal cords ripped in a ski accident... then went on to sing. That's badass.”
