“The New direction in Music! Or maybe not but it is still Damn good. As you might know this is the marriage of a Ra Ra Rioter and a Vampire Weekender. Pure Bliss. This is an epic among songs. For those who like to dance (in their underwear) and/or make love (sans underwear).”
“The story on This American Life about the birth of this song was a great highlight. It's good to find that a band recorded at more fleshed-out version of it.”
“I really like this song for several reasons. Firstly, it just is a good song in itself. I also like the rawness in the sound and production. In this case it really supports the style and delivery. It's also a very organic piece that pulstates and evolves and never seems to really repeat itself. There is a succesful Swedish artist, Håkan Hellström, that this somehow reminds me of, despite being muscially rather different... I guess it's the spontaneous energy that they have in common.. The funy thing is that there's also a Stevie Nicks/Sheryl Crow "If You Ever Did Believe" -vibe in the first part... which may seem pretty odd as the style is quite different, but it fits in naturally and works really well! An interesting raw and musical piece this. I'll certainly check out more by this band very soon. ”
“One voice, looped more times than you can count. Haunting and yet poppy. ”
“Overture 1812. Op.40” on The Great Overtures by Europa Philharmonic Orchestra

“One of the greatest Overtures based on the war of 1812!”
“I remember Memory Lane, and I remember the Rev too. Here's a little nostalgia for the bands that might've lost their stroke, or maybe just swung too early. Baltimore in the early-mid-90s had a terrific live music scene, and the Oranges guys were there. Anyone who was around back then will get a kick out of this. Buy the whole album.”
“Variations For Piano” on Cremorne Pastoral by David Miller, Lawrence Bartlett,...
in Classical
Latest Price:
$0.15
“Soothing, almost new age modern classical -- I guess technically this is post modern. Not atonal but still expressive tonally. A bit impressionistic at times.”
“I had to have this song right when I heard it. It's such a combination of what makes music great to listen to. Suspense...danger. A real "Kill Bill" kind of feel for me. The imagery it provokes makes it even better.”
“This song is ridiculous!!! It is soooooo beautiful!!! Any Kim Burrell Fan is gonna love this one!”

“I think this is a great song! It has, how you say? Roy Orbison crossed with Bob Dylan qualities.”
