Hey! check out http://www.mobettaloretta.com/news.html for a brand new album being put out shortly by the name of, “Salt of the Earth!”
The Mobetta Loretta Band has been working diligently at creating their debut album entitled, “Salt of the Earth” scheduled to be released by the end of this summer, on September 26th—is now delayed a few weeks due to artwork design. The CD will have plenty of surprises in the jewel case design for you to view and read including photos, lyrics and a special word from Mobetta Loretta about the album. The CD replication process should take another couple of weeks, with the release coming out mid-October.
The album will feature eleven songs rich with diverse blues, folk and rock influences. There are plenty of hooks and infectious choruses which should support a strong radio air-play presence once it’s released.
The five piece band includes, Loretta Chacon, a.k.a., Mobetta Loretta (vocals, guitar); Raul Salazar (drums); Kenn “kLutz” Lutz (bass guitar); Professor Steve (harmonica); and Guy James (lead guitar). The band debuted their official, first live performance together as a band on January 30, 2009. In less than nine months, the band is now eager to have you hear their first release!
And will it ever make your foot start to tappin’ to sounds as if it originated straight from the Delta blues mixed with classical rock influences such as Tom Petty, ELO, and George Harrison — this is a southern-style rock band with rich Americana blends at its finest!
So, fair warning, you’ll get hooked before you know it and you’ll wanna hear more… Check out Mobetta’s website for the latest news on the album, “Salt of the Earth’s” latest release.
