Tim McQueen “The Charlie Hustle Project Vol. 1″

June 18th, 2007

Born the child of a 17 year old mother and a soul-singing father (who had another family altogether), Tim McQueen was given up to foster care as a child and was raised by a white preacher man from Minnesota. Although he didn't have the typical upbringing of a classic soul singer, McQueen was influenced by some of the greatest singers of all time. With a voice sounding like the love child of Bill Withers, Teddy Pendergrass, and Al Green, Tim McQueen's signature blend of r&b, gospel, and hip-hop is as soulful as it is uplifting.

Key Tracks

Play Button Broke (

): old school raw funk with powerful vocals

Play Button Steppin (

): gospel influenced r&b

Play Button Blaze (
