The Album Project is an indie music blog specializing in short, to-the-point reviews, and every week they'll be writing up an Amie Street artist they dig. Read the full Tokyo Rose review here!
Anyone telling you that pop punk is for kids obviously hasn't listened to Tokyo Rose.
Musically the band falls in between the harder rock of Taking Back Sunday and the pop melodies of Fall Out Boy. The Promise In Compromise is laced with subtle but dangerously addicting hooks, from the opening track Less Than Four to the final song Seconds Before the Crash -- with everything in the middle just as solid.
The beauty of Tokyo Rose is that if you find a song you like, there's a good chance you'll enjoy the band's entire three-album discography.
