Jeff Caylor

Pop/rock is a style that a lot of bands get labeled as but almost none fully define it like Reeve Oliver.

Visions of summer lace the laid-back, southern California rock music which is also infused with irresistible chorus melodies, the combination of which makes the band hard to forget. Literally 10 seconds into the curiously-named Play Button I Want Burns gives a good picture of the singer's vocal style, which resembles a more ridged version of Switchfoot's Jon Foreman.

Don't be misled, Touchstone Inferno is not the same junk that litters radio stations -- the songs are what you get when you mix traditional style with creative ways of making it fresh and new.
