The Album Project

This is the first in a series of weekly picks syndicated from The Album Project, who'll be writing short reviews of Amie Street artists they dig. Find the original post here!

Jeff Caylor

With something to say and interesting melodies in which he says them, Jeff Caylor is slowly making his way into public awareness. Even as an independent artist with a self-released album, Okay was able to make in the top 10 album lists of several major publications.

Jeff has a laid-back acoustic style that he both plays up on songs like Play Button Pain is a Megaphone but also plays down on the softer, Play Button Moving on Friday . Lyrically intelligent and musically creative, Caylor has pieces of John Mayer, Jack Johnson, Matt Wertz and others but is still definitely doing his own thing.

It should only take one listen of Okay to connect and find a new favorite album.

Additional Tracks:
Play Button Almost Flew
Play Button Moving Backwards
