by The Minor Canon
"A new track from The Minor Canon. 'nuff said."
THE MIGHTY CHOICE REC
from shortwavedahlia
Sometime
by Autodrone
"Rollicking, fun drums--think Boris Williams of The Cure--and beautifully-echoed guitar jangle...I've already used "fabulous" so how about I interject a mighty Potent! instead?"
THE NEXT LEVEL CHRISTMAS REC
from Champkat
God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen
by The von Trapp
Children
"What a voice/voices. You may find this sort of singing in a big choir but never in a family. If anyone wants a live performance check out their website. They do performances at Stowe, VT where the family settled after leaving Austria. Just awesome music. Brings the Christmas sound to a new level."
THE HIGHLY REC'D REC
from Dunebar
Friendship in Blood
by doomsayer
"Awesome guitar work reminiscient of classic Slayer, with the group's own touch on the lead. Glad I found this band! Highly recommended for anyone looking for some good, non-mainstream metal to listen to!"
THE PUNISHING REC
from bakedblake
Cut out the Sick
by recycletothesoil
"A PUNISHING SONG! WITH GREAT GROOVES."
THE REFLECTIVE REC

and the Beagle Club
"The perfect song to put on when thinking about people you once knew but don't know anymore."
THE BROWN U. REPRESENT REC
from DWIZZLE
Lampin

THE EASY LIVIN' IN EDINBURGH REC
from shelley868
Down With The Ship

"Pull up to a hot toddy and enjoy this one beside a warm fire. Beautiful song!"
AND THE GIMME MORE REC
from echolaliaboon
Hey
by The Hundred Days
"Incredibly catchy with none of that boring pop lyric sensibility, & this underwoven yearn... I demand more, instantly. This is, in the title searcher lingo, a SUPER SUPER SUPER RUSH request."

I have only one thing to say about the picture @ the top of this new feed. Blow up doll.

I got one thing to say about the picture this week; I use the same doll in my car to use the HOV lane on the Long Island Expressway. After a few days in the front seat, he started talking to me.

@robert: It wasn’t the doll that drove you crazy man… it was the inexplicable 24/7 traffic on the LIE- I’ve spent a good portion of my life going 7 mph on that road.
@Dwizzle: your hack reference brought me back to like 2001 when we first hacked on Thayer St. Goooood times.
