is a collaboration between jazz legend Pharaoh Sanders and producer Bill Laswell. For this special project, Sanders plays over a sonically treated recording of a heartbeat with additional instrumentation and production added by Laswell. The two make the most out of this simple concept varying the steady heartbeat with synthesized sounds and effects as well as electric sitar and tablas. An experimental record at it's core, this is a soothing collection which, despite it's musical restrictions, can draw in the most discerning of listeners.
