Decibully Peaches Robyn Dell'unto The Bloodsugars
The Brand New Heavies Built To Spill Niraj Chag Michael Orlando

Decibully

Decibully

Polyvinyl Records calls Decibully "one of the hardest working bands on [their] roster," pointing out the band's grueling and celebrated tour history. With a collection of multi-instrumentalists, influences ranging from sea shanties to American roots rock, and a fantastically produced album with all the power and energy of a live show, Decibully are a band we're anxious to hear more from. For now, don't miss their most recent album, 2005's exceptional Sing Out America.

Peaches

Peaches

With the release of her 2000 debut, Peaches quickly established herself as a bold artist with blatantly sexual lyrics, in-your-face attitude and a dirty sense of humor. Her most recent album, Impeach My Bush, features collaborations with Joan Jett, Beth Ditto (The Gossip), Feist, and Josh Homme (Queens of The Stone Age/Eagles of Death Metal), creating a polished sound that's still as fearless as ever. As a special bonus, we're releasing Peaches' remix of Tone Loc's "Wild Thing", so jump on it!

The Bloodsugars

The Bloodsugars

The L Magazine calls The Bloodsugars "the perfect party band for intelligent dancers" and Amie Street is excited to be the first to bring you their new EP! Their danceable garage rock falls somewhere between The Cars, Jimmy Eat World and of Montreal and they're known for their amazing live performances. Most recently they've earned the attention of Time Out New York who said that "The Bloodsugars will raise yours, in a good way, with their sweet, bouncy synth-pop."

Robyn Dell'unto

Robyn Dell'unto

This Canadian singer has the wit of Letterman and Leno combined, and the vocal prowess to back up every word. Each track on Robyn Dell'Unto's EP is sure to send a shiver down your spine. Her sultry voice asks complex questions in simple terms and spits nasty insults in sweet coos. If you're looking for an acoustic female who finds a happy medium between Sarah McLachlan's sad ballads and Ingrid Michaelson's sugary seduction, she's here. One listen of this EP tells you that Dell'Unto is in control, completely content and ready to charm.

Built To Spill

Built To Spill

When Doug Martsch started Built to Spill in the early nineties, he told Spin that he intended to change the lineup for every album. The Normal Years is a compilation of the various incarnations of this classic rock-influenced band from Idaho, featuring their singles "Car" and "Girl" as well as live recordings and unreleased tracks. Martsch, the singer and lead guitarist, is the constant element throughout, and over the course of ten tracks you'll get to know his style well. Like Pavement, Built to Spill is a seminal indie rock band -- get some!

The Brand New Heavies

The Brand New Heavies

In a time when MCs and turntablists dominated pop music, The Brand New Heavies were a rare breed emerging from the London club scene. With James Brown-inspired funk grooves, soulful female vocals and a tight brass section, The Heavies had a long string of hits in the 1990s including "Never Stop," "Spend Some Time" and "Dream On Dreamer." After five albums and several lead singers, The Heavies are still going strong with the reggae-inspired funk of their song "Jump 'N Move," which was featured on the soundtrack to Happy Feet as well as the video game soundtrack for NBA Live 2005.

Niraj Chag

Niraj Chag

With the rich production of an electronic album and the instruments, melodies, and arrangements of Indian classical music, Niraj Chag's Rafta Rafta is an exceptional piece of work. The album is actually the soundtrack to London's National Theatre production of the same name, but stands completely on its own musically. This is a great album for Bollywood fans and electronica junkies. Actually, this is a great album anyone who's looking for something completely different and way cool.

Michael Orlando

Michael Orlando

With his unique sound that combines the energy of rock with traditional bluegrass instruments and the anything-goes philosophy of a jam band, Michael Orlando has earned a spot in the forefront of the progressive bluegrass world. Throughout his career he's shared the stage with Acoustic Syndicate, The Blue Dogs, Edwin McCain, Sam Bush, David Allen Coe, Robby Krieger and Pat Green. Wreckless features Orlando's signature fusion with guitar and mandolin mixed with funky bass and soulful vocals. For something more traditional, Before the Storm is classic instrumental bluegrass, showing that no matter what setting, Michael Orlando is always at home.
