Never The Nines - On The Rise

April 13th, 2007

One of Amie Street's first indie bands is making its mark...

New Jersey based rock/pop quartet Never The Nines is picking up speed and moving at a remarkable pace. Within one year, the band performed as part of Bamboozle at The Meadowlands, was rated one of the top 3 bands at the Midpoint Music Festival in OH, was featured at an industry party at SXSW 2007, and will soon play opening night of the New Jersey Devils play-off game!

While at SXSW, Never The Nines' guitarist, Austin Briggs, played on stage with Robert Randolph and the drummer from 'Moe', Vinnie Amico.

The band plays piano heavy rock with contagious pop hooks and an edge that other bands in the piano rock genre lack. Noted for their deeply moving songs, high energy, and theatricality on stage, the band is a staff favorite here at Amie Street. We know they are headed for the top. Now, the band makes Amie Street the ONLY place to download two new favorite tracks: Play Button What You Did (

), a creepy song about a scorned lovers revenge, and Play Button Devious Things (), a dark, smooth serenade.

Never The Nines will be playing a huge show at The Knitting Factory Tap Bar (74 Leonard St, NYC) on Saturday, April 14th at 11pm.

Do not miss the opportunity to see this band live, they will not disappoint!
