There are few things I find more frustrating than trying to fit bands into genres. It is, in its essence, a square peg - round hole task. In a music blog setting though, it's an all-but-necessary evil. Together since 2003, Hats and Glasses classify themselves as Punk and Indie Rock, and who am I to argue? I'm here simply to tell you they're a little more than just that.

Hats and Glasses walk a squiggly line between so many genres and sub-genres that I'm getting dizzy just thinking about all the hyphens I'd have to employ to take a stab at categorizing them. Luckily (for you and me both), I've decided their music does the talking better than I can, anyway. And besides, at the time of this writing, the songs are free. Take a listen and see if you like these tracks as much as I do.
