Happy Birthday Amie Street!

Today is a holiday in honor of Amie Street's first birthday! One year ago today, Amie Street launched and we've barely slept since. To celebrate our anniversary, nobody has to go to work and there will be fireworks in every town across America. Hooray!
A big THANK YOU to all our artists and members. It's been a great year and the next is going to be even sweeter.
If you are celebrating the birthday of America too, why not celebrate with Sharon Jones and The Dap-Kings' version of Woody Guthrie's folk classic "This Land Is Your Land."

Congratulations guys. Its been fantastic finding you and finding all that great music out there. I’m listening to and loving some stuff I would never have given a second thought to if it wasn’t for your innovative marketing idea.
Here’s to many more birthdays and much more discovery and enjoyment on the musical horizon.

Congratulations to you all!
This calls for a norwegian birthday song
Hurra for deg som fyller ditt år!
Ja, deg vil vi gratulere!
Alle i ring omkring deg vi står,
og se, nå vil vi marsjere,
bukke, nikke, neie, snu oss omkring,
danse så for deg med hopp og sprett og spring,
ønske deg av hjertet alle gode ting
og si meg så, hva vil du mere? Gratulere!
[cheering and applause!]
Here’s for another amazing year for Amie Street!

Congratulations, fellas! I have tried to stay on top of your progress early on, but it has gradually become impossible. They say after the rain comes sunshine. The sun’s sparkling.
