Fueled by Liquor and Nothing to Lose

Or so The GoStation describes their sound. To me they bring to mind two other great rock bands with alcohol-soaked histories: Oasis and the Gin Blossoms. If hard times went into recording their 2005 debut Quiet Zone, what came out was triumphant, anthemic stadium rock.
They sound familiar: just listen to
Wandering Away
and
you'll swear you've heard it before. This isn't a bad thing at all
-- you'll be singing along before you know the lyrics.
With 60000+ friends on MySpace, over 35 RECs on Amie Street, and
glowing press from New York's Underrated Magazine, The GoStation
are ready to explode with their first full-length, Passion
Before Function. We've got a couple sample tracks to get you
hooked once you've already listened to the EP a hundred times,
including the single
All Together Now
.
You know the one thing that's missing from their songs, that you can't really put your finger on? It's the sound of the crowd -- thunderous cheers from a rowdy, drunken festival audience. Hope we're there when it happens!
