Artist Spotlight: The Knees

This post is long overdue: The Knees rock. Hard! Like Hole (kinda) or a female-fronted Weezer they'll get stuck in your head after about ten seconds. If you like bands that sing things like "a whoa-oh ohhh" and "hey hey" then read on!
Pretty much the only thing we know about them, as far as biographies go, is that they miss 1998, but this isn't stuff that'll keep you scratching your head and rethinking your political affiliations. (Although if Hillary went on record saying she liked the Knees...)
Right now it seems that they only have six tracks to their name, which is ok cause they are all jams. Add an intro, a couple skits, a reprise, a cover of "Longview" and bam! Cut it, print it, it's a gold record.
In the spirit of coming out with your second- or third-best song
for a first single (that's still totally awesome for people hearing
you out of nowhere), we'd suggest
The Kind of Girl (Hey Hey)
. It's got
that '90s way of sounding like the end of an album that makes you
want to start all over again.
Also, this video, LOL:

Seriously, without The Knees i’d just just lay in a heap on the ground, not rocking out like it was 1998.
