Artist Spotlight: Terribly Empty Pockets
Listeners with even the wildest of imaginations and biggest hopes might find it hard to believe that one band was capable of producing the shoegazey sound of the Verve, mixed with the early nineties Cloud Nine-induced smiles evoked by Sister Hazel, all under the monotone yet somehow dreamy voice of the Cure's very own Robert Smith. On top of all that blending of ages and genres, Terribly Empty Pockets shocks us all with epic instrumentals and childlike choruses (think climax moments of feel-good movies like Love Actually and The Holiday) in their monumentally cool 2009 release, Cat Mountain.
In fact, while listening to
A-Okay
, I can
actually close my eyes and see Love Actually's
faux-rockstar Billy Mack on stage in his skivvies with fireworks
exploding in the background. And speaking of which, next up is
Billy Billy
, where Terribly Empty Pockets add some
electronic tinges to their alt-pop sound. So while this five-piece
pop ensemble from Columbus, Ohio may currently scrounge for change
in their pockets, they need not worry very long -- fans will soon
be emptying their own pockets and piggy banks to get a listen to
this crossbreed between glum and gloomy and chipper and cheery.

I have bought and downloaded several songs on my iPhone and now need to update them on my iTunes. How do I sync my phone to iTunes on my computer? I know how to sync the iTunes to my iPhone, but not the other way around.
