Sherwood are a four-piece power pop band from San Luis Obispo, CA, who name Jimmy Eat World and the Beach Boys as major influences. They even quote Brian Wilson on their website, saying "Songs are the most honest form of human expression; there's nothing that lies about a song." Sherwood isn't breaking any rules on this record, but instead they've created an incredibly tight album with very few holes.
