Album Spotlight: S-Killer

February 1st, 2008
S-Killer

Electronic music, in the confines of mainstream music, has always placed a great amount of significance on the beat. One artist on Amie Street who understands the science of the beat is S-Killer, whose album

is one of the best electronic records I've heard on this site.

Play Button I want you...3...4 is a blissful, house-friendly romp while Play Button lost in the space is an excellent breakbeat workout that reminds me of the Chemical Brothers at their most popular

following isn't lacking in melody or mood, though, as Play Button free will demonstrate with its intriguing chords and guitar loops. Another strong contender is Play Button old sound , a spaced-out downtempo number that helps to bring balance against all the joyous, upbeat material.

With this much variety within one collection, it would be amazing if Following isn't one of your favorite records. If it's not now, it will be soon.

Additional Tracks:
Play Button save the planet
Play Button S.E.X.
