GD (Geoff) Allan is based in Melbourne, Australia.

GD has played live professionally for 20 years, performing in a wide variety of styles and bands; touring South East Asia with electronic band "BLiM" (where he thrilled audiences with his gutsy vocal style and flexibility); and supporting such iconic Australian acts as Don Walker and Ian Moss (Cold Chisel) and overseas acts such as The Tea Party (Canada).

In 2009 his band Broken Sun has experienced chart success in Europe, with 'Protocol' the second song from the self-titled 'Broken Sun' album entering the Dutch Indie Charts at number 18.
